Aerial Yoga came into my life at a time when I needed to do something else something that could challenge me physically, can calm me mentally and get me out of my routine. At first glance, it seemed scary: hanging upside down, suspended in the middleware of a silk swing. But the moment I took my first class, everything changed. What started as a curious experiment quickly became a life changing journey. Through Hawaii Yoga I found strength, peace and a new approach in both mats and life.
What Is Aerial Yoga?

Aerial Yoga, also known as anti-grayly yoga, combines traditional yoga position, Pilates and dancing using a roof suspended fabric swing. This strong, strained cloth supports your body so you can move through the pose in the air.
The swing acts like a turn or traps, which helps you spread to the depth, create strength and practice invasions without pressing your joints. It is fun, creative and surprisingly relaxed.
My First Class Experience Aerial Yoga
When I went to my first air yoga class, I got nervous. The swing so scare out, and everyone else knew what they were doing. But the instructor was inviting and encouraging, and he reminded us that it was okay to go at our speed.

Another beautiful part of Hawaii Yoga was looking for a society. I met people from all areas of life, who shared a passion for movement and mindfulness. We made each other happy, shared laughter as we fell and celebrated the victory together. Motivated me by having that support system and making the practice even more advantageous.
Tips for beginners

If you are thinking of trying to try Aerial Yoga, here are some suggestions from my experience:
- Begin slowly – don’t rush in complex pose. Do your foundation and learn the basics.
- Wear the right clothes – mounted clothes that cover your arms and legs help you avoid burning.
- Trust the turn – it is designed to keep weight and support you. The more you trust it, the lighter movement it is done.
- Breathing – Remember to breathe through each attitude. It helps in balance and tranquility.
- Have fun – don’t take it very seriously. When you falter, laugh and like the process.
Life beyond the turn
Aerial Yoga did not change the time just on the mat – it changed how I live. I am more grass root, more happy, more conscious of what I have to do. I have taken the lesson about strength, surrender and mindfulness in my conditions, work and daily habits. It’s not just about flying in the air. It’s all about lifting your soul, a breath at a time.
